What is the tax scope of Securities Transaction Tax?
  1. Trading of securities, with the exceptions of government-issued bonds, shall be subject to securities transaction tax in accordance with the provisions of Securities Transaction Tax Act.
  2. In order to increase trading in the bond market, help enterprises raise money, and promote the operation of the capital market, the securities transaction tax levied on corporate bonds and finance bonds shall be exempted from levy for seven years as of 1st January, 2010.
