Cloud invoice exclusive awards expanded, with total amount reaching NT$1.117 billion.

     The National Taxation Bureau of the Northern Area, Ministry of Finance(NTBNA)indicated that in order to encourage people to store cloud invoices through carriers, the number of cash awards of the NT$500 prize exclusive to cloud invoices has been increased by 300,000 sets, from 1,650,000 to 1,950,000 sets, for the period of March to December, 2024. In addition, there are 30 sets of NT$1,000,000 cash awards prize, 16,000 sets of NT$2,000 cash awards prize and 100,000 sets of NT$800 cash awards prize. The amount of cloud invoice exclusive awards will reach NT$1.117 billion, hence the chances of winning will be greatly increased.
     The NTBNA explains that after completing setup of the account on the MOF E-Invoice Platform website(hereinafter referred to as “Platform”)for claiming the cash awards, the cash awards will be remitted to the designated account automatically. After downloading the Uniform Invoice Lottery Redemption APP(hereinafter referred to as “redemption APP”)and completing the consolidation of different types of carriers to their mobile barcode, the consumer can then sit back and allow the APP to automatically check the stored invoices against the prize-winning numbers, notify you when you win, and remit cash awards directly into your designated account. For those who have not completed the setup and did not print out the printed certification copy after prize drawing, prizewinners can go to the multimedia service kiosks of the four major convenience stores (7-11, Family Mart, Hi-Life, and OKmart)to print out the winning invoice or present the invoice certificate notification can claim the fifth prize, the sixth prize, and the cloud invoice awards of NT$500 and NT$800 via the redemption APP. Prizewinners holding the cloud invoices that are stored in the commonality carrier-mobile barcode can claim the prizes via the Platform or redemption APP, which will be remitted to your bank account. Winning uniform invoices are exempt from stamp tax; furthermore, the process saves you time from retaining the invoice receipts and checking against the winning numbers. It also prevents winners from losing out on their prizes by failing to claim the prize before the prescribed deadline.
     The NTBNA reminds the public to consolidate various carriers to their mobile phone barcode and claim the prizes via the Platform or redemption APP. Prizewinners can redeem the general awards of uniform-invoice prize and also enjoy the qualification of cloud invoice exclusive awards. Furthermore, the process saves you time from retaining the invoice receipts and prevents winners from losing out on their prizes by failing to claim the prize before the prescribed deadline. It is also a completely paperless process, from the obtainment of cloud invoices to claiming the prizes. Protect the environment, love our planet!
